Phew! Had me perplexed. My calendar says August.

Great movie with a lot of historical stuff buried in it. I first saw it in a hotel room in Phoenix when I was on a site selection trip for the first conference I ran for the Dragon Lady. Remember her?

Dave, dinner out wasn’t even originally a part of the evening, and this was NOT our 20th anniversary celebration. We have a fund for that already. It was really more of a just for fun thing, no occasion. You’re going to blow a gasket when I tell you that we used a coupon for a free entree from our last visit there. One of the joys of being married to Shannon is that she understands being cheap when being together is the main point, not being extravagant. Here’s more: our first date (without friends) was at Pizza Hut, and it was kids’ night (unbeknownst to me), and then I took her to the dollar movie to see “Little Man Tate.” Breathe, Dave. Breathe.

Ok, so 100 points for originality, but negative 2 million for taking her to eat at Cowboy Chicken!!!
20th anniversary and you take her to Cowboy Chicken????? (I shudder to think where you’ll take her for the 25th… Chuck-E-Cheese?) Come on Mark, you can do better than that! *chuckling*

ps. For times like this, keep yourself some “mad money” out of every paycheck. It can be as small as $5, but when you need to surprise the wife, or just want to get something for yourself, it’ll come in handy.
