Our dog, Cassie, sleeps on the couch next to Shannon’s slippered feet, on Christmas Day. Neither of those ladies wanted to play in the snow during our Texas white Christmas, so Benjamin and I had all the fun for them. (click pic to enlarge)

Well then those two girls missed out on all the fun. As the previous pics of Ben in the snow certainly attest. Still, there’s something to be said for lounging on the couch when the opportunity exists.

So, you guys taking in the World Junior Hockey tournament gold medal game this evening? (6PM MST.) It’s Canada v. USA, man!! I’ll be at the bar with my chums, rooting for the Great White North while enjoying domestic beer.

Lounging on a cold day is nice…but the hot chocolate is so much sweeter when your cheeks are rosy from winter fun. But, since Cassie probably doesn’t get hot chocolate, I’ll forgive her her indulgence.
