Obviously they have had people in the past claim confusion at the fact that birds are, in deed, animals. But I’m sure the local restaurants have complained that the sign also restricts them from serving their customers. Let me tell you about the best place we’ve been to so far… Take Hwy 28 up to Salem and eat at Ralphie’s Italian Cafe. Hubby’s an engineer doing a project at a plant and one of the locals sent us there. Good stuff! Don’t blink. You’ll miss it. It’s on your left coming up from Methuen just about a mile or two from the border and there’s a gas station in the same mini shopping center. It’s a hole in the wall, but really, really good!
