That’d be a very informative sign if it said, “Do Not Feed Mammals or Birds”. In which case, as Pops says, it would still be OK to feed the snakes.

Yeah, I’m not sure what to think of such a sign. Obviously they have had people in the past claim confusion at the fact that birds are, in deed, animals. But I’m sure the local restaurants have complained that the sign also restricts them from serving their customers.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. Let me tell you about the best place we’ve been to so far… Take Hwy 28 up to Salem and eat at Ralphie’s Italian Cafe. Hubby’s an engineer doing a project at a plant and one of the locals sent us there. Good stuff!

Don’t blink. You’ll miss it. It’s on your left coming up from Methuen just about a mile or two from the border and there’s a gas station in the same mini shopping center. It’s a hole in the wall, but really, really good!

I don’t know about Ralphies, but I can say that Salem was one of the high points of our trip out there.
