I'm looking forward to the time that Norah is old enough to do bumper cars and such. I enjoy bringing her to the inflato-fun-orama, but it's the sort fo thing I get to watch her do as apposed to do with her...ya know? As such, we've never ventured into the urine soaked ball pits nor gnawed on the pizza of Chuck E. Cheese...but look forward to it ;)

Having not been through it with a child, I hadn't thought of the abstractness of a swipe card. Great for grown-ups...but offers no lessons in finance for the little ones. Excellent tip.

Well, I hope everyone at home finally comes back to normal.

And no Mark, it doesn't get any easier... especially when he will test his boundaries more and more as he grows.

Count your blessings bud....

Mark, per your suggestion, I have looked over your post once again, reading it in full.

I still find it to my liking, and am leaving you this comment notifying you of same.

Good day to you, sir.

Simon - Had I not been full still from the large lunch, I wouldn't have been bothered by the requirement. As it was -- walking in the door and staying for any purpose at all required buying a pizza buffet -- I was glad we were able to stay long enough to eat supper there.

I have no doubt you could have got more than your money's worth.

As far as the wife's gams go (and they go all the way up!), I shot another picture that included both her legs, but it wasn't nearly as cute of the boy.

If anyone can confirm that bringing up young'uns gets easier, that would be great. Benjamin seems to have adjusted to whatever was making him cranky, and today has come out of it for the most part. We'll see.

P.S. I edited this post as you were commenting, so you might want to look it over once more. I had remembered something slightly wrong.

That there is a very elephant-ish elephant, Mark. No doubt about it.

I would certainly pony up for the pizza buffet, even if I felt a little disgruntled at being obliged to, regardless. In fact, I might take it as a bit of a challenge to get my money's worth. (Something I'd almost surely regret several hours later, but at least I could say to myself, "I sure stuck it to them on their buffet price, eh?") I love pizza a little too much, you might say. (And you would be right in saying so.)

Would I be out of line in complimenting Shannon on her thigh? I don't really care, I just wondered if I'd be out of line in doing so. Ahem... "Shannon! Nice gams, Hon!"

When do kids actually get easier to raise? Anyone know? I've been led to believe it gets easier when they move out of the house, but there's a growing part of me that quails in fear at that prospect. Deep, gnawing, acidic, you'll-never-get-out-alive sort of fear.

Ah hell...
