It is a fun word to say, but I disagree with ya, Pops. I’m not seeing the difference between your definition of carmagudeon and the more traditional curmudgeon. Unless you’re suggesting that it’s someone who has the karma of a curmudgeon but is not actually a curmudgeon…a tragic soul if so.

I was tmepted to say that it was a grumpy car (I’ve known a few,) but have since decided that the word “carmudgeon” works better for that. So we’re back to karma as Pops suggests.

Perhaps it’s someone who is a curmudgeon toward karma. “Karma? Bah, Humbug!” But then, living with a total disregard for karma or the consequences of your actions on others…would circle back around to making you just a plain old curmudgeon.
