Family Front Porch Time
There are some photographs I’m just never going to show you.
Neighbors walking by our house on Saturday morning perhaps thought it strange that my wife trimmed the hedges while Benjamin and I played. To be fair, I did sweep the front porch and sidewalk after she finished, and the boy helped stuff the garbage bags full of fresh-cut twigs.
Mostly, I took pictures. Sadly, Shannon requested that I not publish any of her. She was not fixed up for the day, but, as you can tell from one of the pictures, neither was I. She looked great out there running that electric hedge trimmer. My lady, power tools, and sweat.
Whoa.
But we’re not here to talk about that kind of thing. Nope, instead I’m just sharing a couple of pictures from that morning. The second one is cropped because I asked Shannon not to place us right in the center of the picture, but I didn’t like the way it looked.

I didn’t actually request that you not post any of the pictures of me - you just didn’t like the composition of the one I approved!
It looks like Ben is holding the baby hostage. What sort of demands was he making for the safe release of the captive? That innocent face of Ben’s conceals the nefarious intentions all too well, Nerfherder.
that baby is really creepy… Sorry Ben.
Shan - Yes, you’re right. But I still didn’t get the feeling that you wanted me to use it.
Simon - The demands were met and the baby is safe.
Amy - Not a week goes by that I don’t walk out of our dark hallway into the dark living room and almost crap when I see that baby sitting upright on the couch.
That baby is CREEEPY. It’s going to come to life one day and ask for a creme filled donut. Then when you can’t come up with one…Chucky city.
You’ve been warned.
I’m with Charles… that baby IS creepy!!
Shan, the best pictures of women all over the world, are the natural ones. Working, playing, no makeup, just being themselves.
My wife knows, I absolutely abhor makeup. It takes away from natural beauty.
But then again, that’s just me.
Shannon…it is all about the composition!!!! Love the pics Mark…I will look into Augusta!
