Leaving Memphis
Tonight is what we call pack night. I stuff dirty clothes into my suitcase lid’s inner pockets and tuck my portable electronics into safe crannies of my laptop bag.
Goodbye, Memphis. See you again sometime.
Clockwise from top left: Where we ate dinner on Tuesday night; a purse in a gift shop window; the Mon Chichi in Chris and D’s car; The Rum Boogie Cafe; a section of the wall that runs in front of Graceland.

My daughter SERIOUSLY wants that purse! I know, she is 15! Sounds like your trip went well…..I have enjoyed the pics! Ready to get home or are you home already???
Sounds like you had fun… you’re a lot like me when you’re traveling, always the explorer! *S*
Safe travels home bud…
These are some fun shots! And what a cool story… seeing Mr. Hayes… in the previous post!
Sounds like this was one of the more eventful trips of late. I’ve been through Memphis a couple times and it always has that effect. I’m glad you got to get out and enjoy your time there. Have a safe flight home.
Great pics, babe. I am so happy that you had such an awesome trip, especially getting to spend time with an old friend, your family, AND a celebrity - you can’t beat that! I know you usually hate to travel, but I hope this was kind of like a mini vacation for you - you deserved it. I am SO ready for you to come home and give you a big, fat hug, though!!! I miss you!
Oh my! I don’t think I’ve seen a Mon Chi Chi in over a decade. Okay, now I feel old.
