Project Yellow

Anna issued a challenge several days ago for all of us amateur photogs to post pictures featuring yellow. She called it, aptly enough, “Project Yellow.”

Monday at my desk I decided to join the fray and ventured a mere two feet to find my first subject. In fact, I didn’t even have to get out of my chair.

This little guy is an antenna topper, destined to a meager life impaled on a pencil. I’m not a football nut, but I am a Razorbacks fan and I like to keep this reminder of Arkansas nearby.

We all have our lot in life right??!?! With that smile you would never know he is impaled on anything! He’s cute.

See how you didn’t even have to look far? I love that.

I am so glad you are participating Mark!

You should let him go to sleep once in a while, Mark. He has bags under his eyes.

    Hi,
I found you through the project yellow posts. This is a fun picture. Nice use of yellow!

Anna - My wife informed me that this pic was boring, so I hope my next post spices it up a little.

Dave - Ya darn tootin’, you Huskie!

Rob - Ask and ye shall receive (but maybe not immediately).

Simon - And Shannon said your comment saved the post from being quite so boring.

Cris - What a coincidence — you featured a car, too. Nice angle.

dot - Very nice Yellow photos, especially since you managed to get “double yellow” in pretty much all of them. They provided nice contrast for my scrolling arrival at your black and white barn photo.

Robert - How widespread has Anna’s little Project become, anyway? This is almost like Wordless Wednesday, only less cheesy (although lots of cheese is yellow - somebody stop me!).

On your other comment on my religion and politics post… thanks for the comment.

Ah…a bit of whimsy to get you started. At first I thought it was a Pez dispenser.
