This was his third time to perform it. The first, I had just finished building the guitar and microphone stand and had no cameras at all. The second, I used the camera’s built-in microphone, which ended up sounding terrible. Finally, I got out the binaural mics because they clip on just like a regular lapel mic, and Benjamin cranked it out one more time.
The last part, I guess, just comes naturally to some people after they finish playing their axe.

That was great. He seemed to lose interest there on that last phrase, but it was obvious that he like being a rock star.
LC loves American Idol. He watches it every time it’s on, and if he’s got something going on himself, he’ll tell us to record it for him so he can watch it later. Good stuff.
Ben and Dex could totally do some sort of duet on that little ditty. It’s one of his favourites to belt out at random times. Right up there with his ABCs and the Spider-Man theme song. But I think Ben has the words down a little more pat than my guy does. he still has to work on a couple of the verses. maybe if they got together to sing it would just sound like an interesting harmony?
Guitar Hero can’t be far behind…
He’s certainly mastered the grunge-era apathetic finale. Who knew a 4-year-old rocker could so perfectly capture the music of my high school years?
Benjamin rocks!!!! That was great. I love the guitar smash at the end and the mommies uh, groupies in the background.
