“You want this… don’t you?” Ben projected toward his parents sitting on the sofa opposite him. Lacking the sixth sense they had regressively passed down to their son, all they could see was the intent look in his eye and the focus with which he chomped on his green plastic thingie. The cute dinosaur on Ben’s T-shirt simply nodded its head in time to the boy’s jaw, providing the only response his query would ever likely get.
Of course I think he’s adorably cute, but I have to ask - does anyone else see a huge glob of snot under his left nostril? You’re probably so mesmerized by those beautiful blue eyes that you didn’t even notice, aren’t you?
Shannon, first I was thrown off a little by Mark posting an old picture, so I had to really look closely to make sure it was Ben and not a friend’s baby. During that close inspection, I noticed the snottage, and thought…”he could use a nose wipe.”
So, I’m with you. But…I also love the lighting and his big blue eyes. He seems very focused in his efforts.
It’s hard to believe that we both made it through their initial years without a passifier. When I tell other people that, they think we were crazy.
what a cutie. Reminds me of my youngest daughter (in looks). Have a great Wednesday.
Chomp, chomp. We’ll have another one of those soon. But teething seems to still be off in the future for this little angel in my arms!
“Betcha wish you could chew on this,” Ben mumbles around his toy. “But you can’t…na na na.”
Really, Mark…it’s rather rude.
What a beautiful boy! Why do babies like to always put things in their mouths? LOL!
Gene Simmons has got nuttin’ on this guy.
Because he’s a boy kailani! *LOL*
Great pic Mark..
Ben getting his daily lip and tongue workout! :) Cute shot. I can almost feel the drool….

Si - Nice quote. I use that one myself quite often to my daughter. Often enough that it warrents an eye roll from the wife whenever I do it ;)
Thanks for the smile–very handsome little guy. Happy WW
This one is from Ben’s first year (he’s turning four in July).
I thought it was a shame that I didn’t have a blog back then that I could use to foist cute baby pictures on an unsuspecting public.
So, I went mining in our Fotki.com online photo albums and came up with this gem.
Thanks for viewing.
Looks like he’s getting down to some serious work there. What a little cutie!
Oh, the joys of teething.
Aw, a golden oldie. :)

Charles - Sometimes I think we were crazy, too!
But, it’s one less thing to focus on when it comes time for toilet training, etc., so bonus for us!
He shouldn’t be taking it in his mouth .. it’s a toy, not food. Cute little kid, God bless him
Has that thing pierced his tongue and it’s stuck there?!!!
