At word of potential flooding, Mark, tell me your first thought was of good ol' Blue Straw. I know mine was. Poor thing. Hang in there, fella!

Thanks for the comments, everybody! I might not be as attentive about answering all of them as usual. Life is being life.

Welcome back, Simon!

MG and BK - On the rain -- the city leaders recently eased us up to watering and washing cars twice a week during certain hours.

Thank goodness we're not getting the flooding like Gainesville is.

Speaking of rain...I understand that after all the tightened water restrictions and such, you guys are now facing flooding. Crazy nature and her wicked sense of humor.

I worked on Father's Day and it was IT hell. Nothing worked for the first eight hours of the day, we were lucky to the lights on. Things were much better when I got home.

Please send some rain this way!

Our own boys were with the grandparents when F-Day dawned, so we both got to sleep in 'til nearly nine. Heavenly!

Happy belated day to you too, Mark.

(Finally done catching up with posts!)
