Where You Least Expect It

Published by Mark Williams at 12:39 am under Reading & Writing, True Story

I never thought we would spend Christmas Eve at a cheap motel in New Boston, Texas. I never dreamed our son would wake up to his fourth Christmas in that same motel, no mantel lined with stuffed stockings, no Christmas carols wafting from living room speakers.

That’s pretty much what happened, though, and I’ll be glad to tell you that whole story in a later post.

For now, those reading “A House With No Lights,” may enjoy its conclusion. To read the entire story from start to finish, or go to a specific section, just click here.
