Absolutely. It’s a wonderful series and just a great idea. If I were just a bit less lazy, I would submit something for it. But alas I am, at heart, a very lazy man with barely enough will power to put out a blog post once a week.

Moksha - Good catch. I smiled when I realized I could make the title a play on words, but didn’t figure anybody would get the NPR connection. That’s a great series they do. That kind of thing is part of my inspiration for getting a digital recorder.

In the doctor’s defense (can’t believe I’m saying that), Shannon couldn’t recall whether there was anything to hold her eye open. I pictured an A Clockwork Orange-style device, too. I don’t see how he could have become as popular as he is without doing something.

Too bad he’s got the personality of a robot.

I remember the Clockwork Orange style eye propping device from my LASIK. I guess Shannon’s doctor is in too much a hurry to use such a thing.

Hang in there, Shannon. Once it’s all done…it really is that wonderful to forget about glasses and contacts.

Wow…. I’m glad it’s better for her now.

When I researched doctors here for my LASIK, my doctor boasted less than 1% requiring follow-ups.
My doctor also was a teacher of LASIK all over the world, and one of the tops in the field (believe me, I did my research).
Funny though.. they held my eyelids open with a wire device so that I couldn’t blink.
Glad it’s working for her though!
