Pic of the Week and Grammy

Hoar Frost
This was formed by a waterfall’s mist, and contrasts with the bare brown leaves on the hill. The location is about three miles from the house where I was reared.
Avenger’s Lament Concluded
I made the third installment of “Avenger’s Lament” double the length of the first two, so you may finish the story before the weekend hits. Enjoy and let me know what you do and do not like.
Grammy Dominated
I took a video to my mother-in-law today on my lunch hour. It had various Ben clips, including the original I used to make the sound files on a previous post. By the time I drove over there and we watched about 10 minutes, I had to leave her with it. Seeing Ben on the TV made her smile. She has no more intravenous lines attached to her, and is on a very low level of oxygen. Her only pain relievers are oral. Schedule for coming home: 8 a.m. CT on Friday. Wow. Get your chest cracked open on Saturday morning, have a few major blood vessel sections cut from your leg (or your chest) and attached to major vessels near your heart, leave the following Friday.
My mother called and volunteered to come down here — a six hour drive — to help. I took her up on it before knowing Ben’s grammy would be out of the hospital Friday morning. It still will be great to have her here, and she’ll arrive early afternoon Friday.
Accepted Exceptions
In a conference call Thursday, a guy kept talking about “accepted exceptions,” and it struck me funny.

What strikes me funny is the term ‘hoar’ frost. In a guilty chuckle sort of way, you know?
Excellent news on the MIL!
Have a great weekend bud…
